<br />SESSION 1534 <br /> <br />MINUI'FS OF rrHE UNIVERSITY CITY caJNCIL <br /> <br />Janucn:y 7, 1991 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University city held in the As- <br />sembly Room of City Hall on Monday, Janucn:y 7, 1991, Mayor Janet Majerus pre- <br />sided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, <br />the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember Betty L. Thompson. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUl'ES <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved approval of the December 10, 1990 minutes as submitted. Mrs. <br />SchUJl1a11 seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APEOINIMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved the appoinbnent of Mr. Miles Cramer, 1065 Jackson, to the <br />Board of Trustees of the Unifonned and Non-Unifonned Employees Retirement <br />Frmds for an unexpired tenn ending July 1, 1991. Mrs. SchUJl1a11 seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the appoinbnent of Ms. Bal::Dara Ann Romero, 8354 Orchard, to <br />the Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters for an unexpired tenn ending <br />Januro:y 2, 1994. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OA'IH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />sister Margaret Marie Vitt, who was appointed to the Cormnission on Human Re- <br />lations at the last meeting, was given the oath of office by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus thanked Sr. vitt for agreeing to serve on this inportant com- <br />mission. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REroRI'S <br /> <br />FUBLIC HEARING - ZONING AMEN'INENT <br /> <br />The City Manager said a public hearing was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this date <br />and place to hear comments on the Plan Conunission recommendation to clarify <br />that a substance abuse treabnent center may be allowed in the "PR-o" Planned <br />Residential-office zone only as a conditional use. <br />
