Noting that Mr. Ollen- <br />dorff indicated changes may be made later, she suggested that the budget be <br />adopted as proposed by the City Manager. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption of the Camm.mity Developnent Block Grant budget <br />as proposed by the Finance Director am City Manager, subject to amerrlation. <br />Mr. Wagner secorxied the motion. <br /> <br />Further discussion ensued. Mr. Price still wanted money taken fran Parkview <br />Gardens Police am allocated to the Northeast Area. Mr. Adams disagreed, <br />saying forces were at work in the Loop that needed police attention. He <br />called the question. <br /> <br />All voted Aye except Mrs. 'Ih011'pS0l1, who voted Nay. 'Ihe motion carried six to <br />one. <br /> <br />SPECIAL GUEST <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus introduced her son, David Majerus, who was in town on business. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL REFORl' <br /> <br />'!he Persormel report for the week en::ling october 17, 1992, was received am <br />ordered filed. <br /> <br />roLICE DEPARIMENI' REroRl' <br /> <br />'!he Police Department report for the month of September, 1992, was received <br />and ordered filed. <br /> <br />BILL FOR SECDND AND 'IHIRD RFADIN3S <br /> <br />Prior to secom reading of Bill No. 8103, Mr. Adams moved that it be amended <br />by adding orchard Avenue (eastl::xx:Ini am westbourrl) at Sheridan Drive as an <br />additional stop. Mrs. 'IhClll'pSOn secomed the motion. 'Ihe roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: eounci1mernbers Price, Adams, Wagner, Schuman, Schoomer, <br />'!hompson am Mayor Majerus. NAYS: None. 'Ibis is a substantial change so <br />the bill may not be passed at this meeting. It will receive secorn. am third <br />readings at the next meeting.
