'!hey are also concen1ed <br />about extremely lcud music, am Mrs. Sharpe said the police have been helpful <br />but this problem is still prevalent. Neighbors are also unhappy about the <br />large rnnnber of children who play in the street. other items mentioned were <br />varrlalism, car break-ins, am burglaries. It was suggested that police driv- <br />in;J slOlrlly through the area would act as a deterrent. She encouraged police <br />to take care of minor infractions because she felt that discourages IOClre ser- <br />ious crimes. She called attention to graffiti in the 7100 block of Olive, <br />notin;J that several businesses have had to :renDVe it IOClre than once. She <br />hOPed there was sane way to help these businesses, am stressed that it was <br />very ilnportant that graffiti be :renDVed as quickly as possible, otherwise, it <br />encourages IOClre of the same.
