She <br />said lOClre house inspections, a stronger police presence am additional street <br />cleanin;J was needed. She said gangs in the area were responsible for graffi- <br />ti am general disruption, there were derelict cars, lots of rubbish, am <br />property was bein;J allowed to deteriorate. She asked that the City lOClnitor <br />this neighbortlcx:xi lOClre closely. <br /> <br />Ms. vickie Young, 1351 Coolidge, referrin;J to the Coolidge alley discussed <br />earlier, asked if adjacent neighbors may use the property as they wish after <br />vacation, am who will maintain the parts that are not claimed. Mr. Ollen- <br />dorff said the City vacates the alley, then, followin;J a specific procedure, <br />neighbors on each side may claim the half adjacent to their property. If a <br />neighbor does not want his share, perl1aps an agreenvant may be worked out to <br />give it to another neighbor.
