A general plan was subnitted, but it is not detailed enough to <br />allow for analysis, therefore, it was rec:::cmnerrled that this matter be held <br />over and the applicant encouraged to subnit IOOre detailed plans. <br /> <br />'!he applicant, Ms. Millie washin;Jton, 7828 Olive, said she thought she sub- <br />mitted what the City wanted. Mr. Ollerrlorff said the City received only a <br />drawirg showirg where the deck was to be located, but a description of the <br />construction of the deck, height, materials, etc., was needed. Mayor Majerus <br />suggested that Ms. Washington meet again with Director of Plannirg Al Goldman <br />and ask him to list everyt:hi.rg that should be included in the plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams asked Ms. washin;Jton to be sure that harrlicapped parkirg am access <br />is shown on the revised plan. <br /> <br />In response to Mr. Price, Mr. Goldman said Ms. washington brought in a sketch <br />early last week and was informed that IOOre infomation was needed: a sketch <br />done by the Plannin;J Department that included needed infomation was given to <br />her. She was told that if she came back with a detailed plan by '!hursclay, it <br />could be put on the agerrla for this meetirg, although nomally there is a <br />deadline of a week. He met with Ms. Washi.rqton Friday to examine the plan, <br />but it was still lackin;J in many necessary details. <br /> <br />Mrs. '!ho.rrpson asked why this matter was on the agerrla if the plan cannot be <br />voted on. Mr. Ollerrlorff said all deadlines were waived .in order to accammo- <br />date Ms. washington: when the detennination was made that the plan was not <br />acceptable, he put the matter on the agerrla anyway so it could be discussed. <br /> <br />Mr. Price said the July 27 minutes do not specify that IOOre detail was asked <br />for. However, Mr. Adams said even though not reported in the minutes, Ms. <br />Washirgton was told a detailed drawirg was needed, anj there were still many <br />questions that had to be answered.
