Denial is recx::mnerxled for several reasons-- <br />some of the purposes listed are not pennitted in this zonin:;J district, some <br />of the purposes need to be clarified, ani there is not enough parki.n:J on the <br />site. In addition, the site plan is not accurate, ani the floor plan does <br />not have enough detailed infonnation. since so many of the purposes are at <br />odds with City ordinances, the City would not encourage any additional expen- <br />diture on detailed plans. lastly, the City's Cclrlprehensive Plan calls for <br />this area to be utilized for irrlustrial, commercial or warehousin:;J. Little <br />other property in the City is suitable for such purposes. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill amningham, 10424 Manchester, asked that the Council defer action on <br />this matter until the next Council meetin:;J, notin:;J that he had not reviewed <br />the plans until today, ani there seemed to be a rn.nnber of misumerstarxiin:;Js. <br />He said he would work with Mr. Goldman to resolve any difficulties. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams lOOVed deferral, ani Mr. Wagner secon:ied the IOCltion. Mayor MajenlS, <br />notin:;J this site is in the East Olive Tax Increment Financin:;J District, said <br />several members of the TIF carrmission have expressed concern that valuable <br />commercial property may be taken out of the district for not-for-profit use. <br />She asked that the carrmission make a ~tion on this matter.
