It was rec:ormnerrled that <br />the alley iIrprovement assessment rate for fiscal 1992-93 be $13.44 per abut- <br />tin;J front foot, am the street iIrprovement assessment rate be $22.20 per <br />abuttin;J front foot. For a side yard abuttin;J a street or alley iIrprovement, <br />the cost would be 50% of these amounts. :Rates were detenni.ned from an analy- <br />sis based on the bid averages fran two recent alley reconstruction projects. <br />'!his increase (20%) is the first in several years. <br /> <br />Application for Solicitation Pennit - Grace O1apel Ministries (#3). Approval <br />of an application by Rev. Larry Brown of Grace O1apel Ministries for door-to- <br />door solicitation in University City from July 7-28, 1992, durin;J daylight <br />hours was rec:ormnerrled. Also, representatives with canisters will be at major <br />shoppin;J areas (with the owner's permission) am on sidewalk comers. It would cost at <br />least $10,000 to retrofit am test the old tanks to meet enviro:rurental pro- <br />tection standards.
