<br />SESSION 1568 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MINUI'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY <nJNCIL <br /> <br />May 4, 1992 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of university City held in the As- <br />sembly Room of City Hall on Monday, May 4, 1992, Mayor Janet MajenIS presided <br />and called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the <br />following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price* <br />Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr.* <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mal:y V. Schuman <br />Mr. PaulE.Schoomer <br />Mrs. Betty L. 'iliompson <br /> <br />*Mr. Price arrived at 7:49 p.m. and Mr. Adams arrived at 7:32 p.m. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollerrlorff. <br /> <br />MINUI'ES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the April 20, 1992, minutes as submitted. Mr. <br />Schoorner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OA'IHS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Mr. David F. Neiers, 916 Alanson, and Mr. Jay E. SUshelsky, 7334 WestJnore- <br />land, newly appointed to the Board of Adjusbnent, were given the oath of of- <br />fice by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor MajenIS thanked the new members for their willingness, time, and exper- <br />tise in seI.Ving on this very important board. <br /> <br />cnMMENTS - WASHINGION UNIVERSITY S'IUDmr REPRESmrATIVE <br /> <br />Ms. Michelle Brodsky, 6515 Wydown, Washington University student liaison to <br />the City Council, said connnencement will be May 15 at 8:30 a.m. in the quad- <br />rangle, and the MAIXX> Dance Company will Perform May 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. She <br />thanked the City for its work in connection with the Greenway path, particu- <br />larly the tree trimming and lighting improvements, which make it much safer. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REroRl'S <br /> <br />OONSENl' CAIENIl7ffi. (SIX ITEMS) <br /> <br />Settim Public Hearim - Coolidqe WalkwaY Vacation (#1). May 18 at 7:30 p.m. <br />was recommended as the time and place for a public hearing on the proposed <br />vacation of the Coolidge Walkway between Richard and Orchard.
