SESSION 1568 ~ MINUI'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY <nJNCIL May 4, 1992 At a regular meeting of the City Council of university City held in the As- sembly Room of City Hall on Monday, May 4, 1992, Mayor Janet MajenIS presided and called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: Mr. Byron R. Price* Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr.* Mr. Robert G. Wagner Mrs. Mal:y V. Schuman Mr. PaulE.Schoomer Mrs. Betty L. 'iliompson *Mr. Price arrived at 7:49 p.m. and Mr. Adams arrived at 7:32 p.m. Also present was City Manager Frank Ollerrlorff. MINUI'ES Mr. Wagner moved approval of the April 20, 1992, minutes as submitted. Mr. Schoorner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. OA'IHS OF OFFICE Mr. David F. Neiers, 916 Alanson, and Mr. Jay E. SUshelsky, 7334 WestJnore- land, newly appointed to the Board of Adjusbnent, were given the oath of of- fice by the City Clerk. Mayor MajenIS thanked the new members for their willingness, time, and exper- tise in seI.Ving on this very important board. cnMMENTS - WASHINGION UNIVERSITY S'IUDmr REPRESmrATIVE Ms. Michelle Brodsky, 6515 Wydown, Washington University student liaison to the City Council, said connnencement will be May 15 at 8:30 a.m. in the quad- rangle, and the MAIXX> Dance Company will Perform May 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. She thanked the City for its work in connection with the Greenway path, particu- larly the tree trimming and lighting improvements, which make it much safer.
