Planning Director Al Goldman said <br />until it is rezoned "PR-o" and a conditional use is app:roved, the proposed <br />parking site cannot be included as part of the parking. He said it looked as <br />if the site was adequate to take care of parking needs, but the condition set <br />by the Plan Commission came directly fram the Zoning Code based on nursing <br />home parking requirements for the m.unber of beds and employees, and that ImlSt <br />be met before a building pennit can be issued. He reviewed the necessary <br />parking requirements. Mr. Deutsch said about 25-30 spaces were in the garage <br />urrler the Gatesworth out of a total on the site of about 110, 30 of which are <br />unused. If necessary, these could be used for employees. <br /> <br />In response to Mr. Price, Mayor Majerus said it was correct that a condition <br />could not be added retroactively to the corrlitional use pennit. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams moved app:roval of the conditional use pennit for #1 McKnight Place <br />(Phase II) with all conditions. '!he motion died for lack of a secorrl. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer said in view of the population density on the site, questions on <br />ambulance/emergency sel:Vices, traffic, access and other unanswered matters, <br />he moved to table Perrling a report from the Fire Marshall and Olief of Police <br />on the impact of all these factors. Mrs. Schuman secorrled the motion. He asked the <br />City to repair the railing.
