<br />SESSION 1562 <br /> <br />MrnUI'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY axJNCIL <br /> <br />January 27, 1992 <br /> <br />At a regular meeti.rq of the city Council of university City held in the As- <br />sembly Rocm of City Hall on Monday, January 27, 1992, Mayor Janet Majerus <br />presided and called the meeti.rq to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the <br />Mayor, the follCMi.rq members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. J ose};h L. Mans, Jr. <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schmnan <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoamer <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember Betty L. '!hampson, who was out of the City. <br />Also present was city Manager Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUl'ES <br /> <br />January 6. 1992 <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the minutes of January 6, 1992 as submitted. <br />Mrs. Schmnan seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />January 13. 1992 <br /> <br />Mr. Schoamer said the minutes of this special meeti.rq did not identify the <br />funding source for the emergency purchase of a heati.rq system for the Central <br />Garage. '!he City Clerk said before the minutes are circulated, she would add <br />that funding came from the Central Garage account. Mr. Wagner moved approval <br />with that change. Mr. Adams seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AProINIMEN'l' <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus moved the appointment of Ms. SUsan Gast, 7356 Kingsbury Blvd., <br />to the Library Board for an unexpired teJ:m endi.rq June 30, 1993. Mrs. Schu- <br />man seconded the motion, which carried unanim:>usly. <br /> <br />OA'IHS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Mr. Michael Corn, newly appointed to the Board of Appeals, Mr. Charles Fox- <br />worth, reappointed to the city Plan Commission, and Mr. Esley Hamilton, reap- <br />pointed to the Historic Presel:Vation Commission, were given the oath of of- <br />fice by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus thanked the new and reappointed members for their service, not- <br />i.rq that each board is quite different, but all are btportant to the conununi- <br />ty and the Council depended heavily on their assistance and recommendations. <br />
