Regular Meeting March 28, 2005 10. BILL NO. 8768 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE CITY ZONING CODE RELATING TO ZONING, BY REPEALING THE ZONING MAP ILLUSTRATING THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 AND ENACTING A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP SO AS TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AT 8041 OLIVE AND 8081 OLIVE AND 1214 HAFNER FROM GC – GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO PD-M PLANNED DEVELOPMENT MIXED USE; AND ESTABLISHING PERMITTED LAND USES AND DEVELOPMENTS THEREIN; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The Bill was read for the second time. The Bill was read for the third time. Ms. Colquitt moved adoption and Ms. Welsch seconded. The Roll Call vote was as follows: AYEs: Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt and Mayor Adams; NAYs: none. Bill 8768 passed and became Ordinance Number 6538. RESOLUTION: Preliminary Development Plan for 8041 Olive, 8081 Olive and 1214 Hafner Ms. Welsch moved to adopt the resolution dealing with the matter of the preliminary development plan fro 8041 Olive, 8081 Olive and 1214 Hafner, in the City of University City, Missouri, and Mr. Wagner seconded. Mayor Adams said there is a required PD-M Planned Development Mixed-Use Resolution for this location. Mr. Sharpe said “He said to do the Resolution,” and Mayor Adams responded “ We had to do that one, but the conditional use we are not going to do.” The Resolution passed unanimously. BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION 1. Ms Colquitt introduced Bill Number 8769: AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF THE 40 FEET WIDE RIGHT OF WAY OF FOREST PARK AVENUE LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF UNIVERSITY CITY, EAST OF SUTTER AVENUE, WEST OF EAST PARK INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, AND EXTENDING NORTHWARD 237.5 FEET FROM MAPLE AVENUE BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. Page 24
