BILL NO. 8768 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE CITY ZONING CODE <br />RELATING TO ZONING, BY REPEALING THE ZONING MAP ILLUSTRATING <br />THE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 AND <br />ENACTING A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP SO AS TO CHANGE THE <br />CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AT 8041 OLIVE AND 8081 OLIVE AND 1214 <br />HAFNER FROM GC – GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO PD-M <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT MIXED USE; AND ESTABLISHING PERMITTED <br />LAND USES AND DEVELOPMENTS THEREIN; CONTAINING A SAVINGS <br />CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />The Bill was read for the second time. <br />The Bill was read for the third time. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved adoption and Ms. Welsch seconded. <br /> <br />The Roll Call vote was as follows: AYEs: Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. <br />Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt and Mayor Adams; NAYs: none. Bill 8768 <br />passed and became Ordinance Number 6538. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION: Preliminary Development Plan for 8041 Olive, 8081 Olive and 1214 <br />Hafner <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved to adopt the resolution dealing with the matter of the preliminary <br />development plan fro 8041 Olive, 8081 Olive and 1214 Hafner, in the City of University <br />City, Missouri, and Mr. Wagner seconded. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said there is a required PD-M Planned Development Mixed-Use <br />Resolution for this location. Mr. Sharpe said “He said to do the Resolution,” and Mayor <br />Adams responded “ We had to do that one, but the conditional use we are not going to <br />do.” <br /> <br />The Resolution passed unanimously. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />1. Ms Colquitt introduced Bill Number 8769: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF THE 40 <br />FEET WIDE RIGHT OF WAY OF FOREST PARK AVENUE LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE CITY LIMITS OF UNIVERSITY CITY, EAST OF SUTTER AVENUE, WEST OF <br />EAST PARK INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, AND EXTENDING NORTHWARD 237.5 FEET <br />FROM MAPLE AVENUE BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC EASEMENTS, AND <br />DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST.
