Regular Meeting <br />April 11, 2005 <br /> <br />of developers with the neighborhood. These are two actions in motion and both, the <br />Council hopes, will remedy some of the problems that the neighbors have faced and will <br />face. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot said that the full name of the proposed board is Residential Infill Review Board. <br />She is sorry that the Greensfelder neighbors have made so many trips on this issue. <br />The Council believes that we now understand our legal possibilities and she regrets that <br />this is the action that the Council must take. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch said that as Councilmembers Brot and Wagner move us forward on the <br />Residential Infill Review Board that we see if the question that Mr. Sterbenz has brought <br />up about indentures in private subdivisions is something that we should be looking at. <br />She knows that this was a question in both the Greensfelder and Jackson cases and <br />she believes that it is something that the Council should look at. <br /> <br />Ms. Brungardt thanked the citizens for their works on this effort. She assures them that <br />the Council will continue to need their help in managing these types of decisions in the <br />future. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams ordered the roll call vote on the question of Bill 8759, application for <br />resubdivision of 7823 Greensfelder Lane. AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, Mr. <br />Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill <br />number 8759 has been approved and became Ordinance number 6529. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING <br />: <br /> <br />1. Bill No. 8769 - VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF THE 40 <br />FEET WIDE RIGHT OF WAY OF FOREST PARK AVENUE LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE CITY LIMITS OF UNIVERSITY CITY, EAST OF SUTTER AVENUE, WEST <br />OF EAST PARK INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, AND EXTENDING NORTHWARD 237.5 <br />FEET FROM MAPLE AVENUE BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC EASEMENTS, <br />AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. Ms. Welsch seconded the motion. The roll call vote was <br />as follows: AYES: Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. <br />Colquitt, Mayor Adams. NAYS: none.
