<br /> <br />Session 1973 <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />June 6, 2005 <br /> <br />At a Regular Meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council <br />Chambers, on Monday, June 6, 2005, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to order <br />at 6:30 P.M. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of Council were <br />present: <br /> <br /> Ms. Cassandra Colquitt <br /> Ms. Francine Brungardt <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br />Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Ms. Shelley Welsch <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the May 9, 2005 budget study session minutes. Mr. <br />Sharpe seconded. Ms. Welsch moved approval with amendments, which were earlier <br />submitted to the City Clerk. Ms. Brot seconded, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved approval of the May 11, 2005 budget study session minutes, as <br />amended. Ms. Brungardt seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved approval of the May 18, 2005 budget study session minutes as <br />submitted. Ms. Brot seconded, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE EASEMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor said that this resolution deals with granting a permanent easement to <br />Southwestern Bell Telephone at the northwest corner of Kingsland and Olive for the <br />purpose of upgrading their equipment to eliminate some of the service problems being <br />experienced by residents in the area. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt moved approval. Mr. Wagner seconded, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – SETTING AN UNDESIGNATED FUND BALANCE OF 17%: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams explained that this resolution is recommendation and approval of the City <br />Council to set the undesignated general fund balance of at least 17% of the budgeted <br />general fund expenditures for the ensuing fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
