The Director of Community Development and Planning Lehman Walker talked about <br />Economic Development Initiatives. He supplied Council with a packet of all of the <br />information his department supplies to any potential developer. Mr. Walker explained the <br />difference with the Olive Blvd district being three miles long being harder to develop than <br />the development of the Loop Business District. He stated that the Community <br />Development Department’s objectives were to: <br /> Have in place a strategy to attract and retain businesses and residents <br /> Have a code enforcement which is critical for neighborhood stability <br /> Promote economic development <br />The meeting was adjourned at 5:25 p.m. <br />Submitted by <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br /> <br />
