Bill No. 8307 became Ordinance No. 6089. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8308 - DISSOLVING THE SPECIAL ALLOCATION FUND FOR THE OLIVE EAST <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT AND PROJECT, AND TERMINATING THE OLIVE <br />EAST TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT AS A REDEVELOPMENT AREA PURSUANT <br />TO THE REAL PROPERTY TAX INCREMENT ALLOCATION DEVELOPMENT ACT. <br />Bill No. 8308 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8308 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption, and Mr. Ware seconded. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: <br />Councilmembers Lieberman, Schoomer, Thompson, Ware, Munkel, Wagner, and Mayor Adams. <br />NAYS: None. Bill No. 8308 became Ordinance No. 6090. <br /> <br />Mr. Jerry Pratter, attorney representing Schnuck Markets, said he was pleased this project developed <br />as it did, in a positive manner with few snags. On behalf of Schnuck's, Mr. Dave Fontana said he appre- <br />ciated the cooperation of the City in moving this project forward. He said the closing on the property <br />was scheduled for next week, then extensive site preparation will take place, with construction following <br />during 1997. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8309 - FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE RECREATION DIVI- <br />SION DIRECTOR AFTER DECEMBER 25, 1996: CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br />A bill was introduced by Councilmember Schoomer, entitled: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE RECREATION DIVI- <br />SION DIRECTOR FROM AND AFTER DECEMBER 25, 1996; CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY <br />CLAUSE." <br /> <br />The bill was assigned No. 8309 and given its first reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8309 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8309 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption, and Mr. Wagner seconded. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: <br />Councilmembers Schoomer, Thompson, Ware, Munkel, Wagner, Lieberman, and Mayor Adams. <br />NAYS: None.
