ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR <br />SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.020 THEREOF, <br />RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING <br />DESIGNATED HOURS., AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION 10.44.020 PARKING <br />PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS,” <br />THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING <br />ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF FORSYTH BLVD, THEREOF FROM DEL-LIN <br />DRIVE TO ASBURY AVE, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF SEVEN A.M. AND <br />NINE A.M. AND BETWEEN THE HOURS OF THREE P.M. AND SIX P.M. <br />ON EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK EXCEPT SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND <br />HOLIDAYS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to <br />parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section <br />10.44.020 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets during <br />designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as <br />“Section 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated <br />hours,” thereby amending said section so as TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON THE <br />SOUTH SIDE OF FORSYTH BLVD, THEREOF FROM DEL-LIN DRIVE TO <br />ASBURY AVE, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF SEVEN A.M. AND NINE A.M. AND <br />BETWEEN THE HOURS OF THREE P.M. AND SIX P.M. ON EVERY DAY OF <br />THE WEEK EXCEPT SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND HOLIDAYS; so that said <br />section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br />10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours. <br />The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where parking <br />is prohibited during the time set forth in this section within the meaning of the <br />title: <br />Alta Dena Court: On the west side thereof from University Drive to Pershing <br />Avenue between the hours of nine a.m. and eleven a.m. <br />On the east side thereof between the hours of one p.m. and three p.m. except <br />Saturday, Sunday and holidays. <br />Balson Avenue: On the north side thereof from Jackson Avenue to the first high <br />school service drive west of Jackson Avenue between the hours of eight a.m. <br />and four p.m. on every day of the week except Saturday, Sunday, and holidays <br />and election days. <br />On the south side, from the southwest corner of Balson and Jackson, for a <br />distance of one hundred fifty (150) feet to the west, from seven a.m. to four p.m., <br />allowing parking for fifteen (15) minutes for a passenger zone, Monday through <br /> <br />
