<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />September 21, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, September 21, 2009, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to <br />order at 6:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council <br />were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were City Manager Julie Feier and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br /> <br />C. PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. August 31, 2009, Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe, and were approved unanimously. <br />2. August 31, 2009, Regular Session minutes as amended were moved for <br />approval by Mr. Wagner and were approved unanimously. Ms. Ricci requested <br />her comments be added to the end of the minutes. <br />3. September 8, 2009 Special Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe and were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br />Greg Patterson and Donnie Robinson were reappointed to the Traffic <br />Commission by Mr. Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved <br />unanimously. <br />2. <br />Bob Wagner was nominated by Mayor Adams to be on the Joint Task Force of <br />the Redevelopment of Olive and I 170 with Olivette, seconded by Mr. Sharpe <br />and was approved unanimously. <br />3. <br />Arthur Sharpe was appointed as the Council liaison to the Civil Service Board by <br />Mayor Adams. <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Linda Fried was sworn in to the Urban Forestry Commission in the City Clerk’s office <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. <br />Purchase of two defibrillators <br />Contract was awarded to the current competitively bid contract through Zoll <br />Medical Corporation as a member of the Fire Rescue GPO contracts group for <br />$42,580 plus a trade in value of $10,000. <br /> <br /> <br />
