SESSION 1677 <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> September 9, 1996 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the City Council of University City held in the Council Chamber of City Hall on <br />Monday, September 9, 1996, Mayor Joseph L. Adams called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addi- <br />tion to the Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Hardy Ware <br />Mr. Wayne I. Munkel <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mr. Lawrence Lieherman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoomer <br />Mrs. Betty L. Thompson <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank OllendorfE <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />August 19, 1996 <br />Mr. Ware moved approval of the minutes of the regular meeting held August 19, 1996, as submitted. <br />Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />September 3, 1996 <br />Mr. Lieherman moved approval of the minutes of the special meeting held September 3, 1996, as submit- <br />ted. Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Mr. Peter H. Green, Mr. Willie Norfleet, and Ms. Nancy Kaufman, recently appointed to the Tax Incre- <br />ment Financing Commission, were given the oath of office by the City Clerk. Mayor Adams thanked <br />the new members, noting the importance of this commission and and the valuable work they will be in- <br />volved in very shortly. He said he was looking forward to working with this group as its liaison. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Adams moved that Mr. Stephen P. Marsh, 7110 Cornell, be appointed to the Tax Increment Fi- <br />nancing Commission to complete the membership. Mr. Schoomer seconded, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR (11 ITEMS) <br /> <br /> <br />
