Session 1676, Minutes <br />September 3, 1996 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Construction for their low bid of $229,000. <br /> <br />Mrs. Thompson moved approval as recommended, and Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Henry Halamicek, president of Halamicek Bros., 7302 Picadilly, asked that Council reconsider <br />awarding the contract to Mosley because he felt there were irregularities in the bidding process in that <br />it was not clear that the cost of the building survey was to be included. <br /> <br />In response to Mr. Wagner, Mr. Ollendorffsaid the request for bid forms was explicit in stating that the <br />survey of existing building condition was to be included, and the Halamicek bid was the only one that <br />excluded it. He added that there were no irregularities in the bidding process. <br /> <br />Following brief discussion, Mr. Schoomer called the question.
