LICENSE--CLASSIFICATION <br />OF LICENSES; FEES, TERMS AND REGULATIONS," "SECTION 4-8. LICENSE--ISSUANCE <br />TO BUSINESS NEAR SCHOOL, CHURCH, SYNAGOGUE OR OTHER BUILDING REGULARLY <br />USED AS A PLACE OF RELIGIOUS WORSHIP," AND "SECTION 4-22. HOURS OF SALE; <br />SALE ON SUNDAY; HOURS OF CLOSING," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTIONS SO AS <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE TO CERTAIN <br />MUSIC SCHOOLS AND AUTHORIZE SALES ON SUNDAY, <br />Bill No. 8283 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8283 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Munkel, Wagner, Lieberman, Schoomer, Thompson, Ware, and Mayor Adams. <br />NAYS: None. Bill No. 8283 became Ordinance No. 6065. <br /> <br />BILL FOR INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Before introducing the next bill, Mr. Ollendorffsaid a change was necessary. On page 2, Section 4(1), <br />the phrase "including only Real Property Taxes and County Sales Tax" must be deleted from the second <br />line of that paragraph. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8284 - AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5653 TO ESTABLISH A NEW TAX INCRE- <br />MENT FINANCING COMMISSION OF UNIVERSITY CITY, PURSUANT TO THE TIF ACT AS <br />AMENDED. <br />A bill was introduced by Councilmember Schoomer, entitled: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5653 TO ESTABLISH A NEW TAX INCRE- <br />MENT FINANCING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, PURSU- <br />ANT TO THE TIF ACT AS AMENDED." <br /> <br />The bill was assigned No. 8284 and given its first reading. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m., noting that Council will reconvene in Room 6 to <br />conclude the executive meeting which started at 7 p.m. this evening.
