Amount <br />budgeted was $21,000, low bid was $26,078. <br /> <br /> #6 – Printing of 23,000 – 2006 City Calendars <br />Recommended low bid submitted to Publication Printing for $10,376 <br /> <br />#7 – Prefabricated Bathroom in Heman Park <br />Low bidder, Applebaum & Associates, for $18,484, was recommended <br /> <br />#8 – Chevrolet Cargo Van for Police Department <br />Recommended Weber Chevrolet with low bid of $11,472.07 <br /> <br />#9 – Roof Replacement – Community Center <br />Shay Roofing was recommended having low bid of $29,242 <br /> <br />#10 – City Hall Renovation Contract Additions <br />Recommends original bid proposal for Exterior Masonry and Exterior Steps <br />Restoration in the total bid amount of $132,000. Funds were available in Building <br />Reserve. <br /> <br />Item #4 and #7 in the Consent Calendar were asked to be pulled for discussion <br />by Ms. Welsch and Ms. Brot. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended the remaining items, on the Consent Calendar for <br />approval. <br /> <br />Motion was made for approval by Mr. Wagner and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />ITEMS PULLED FROM CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> #4 – 2006 Council Regular Meeting Schedule <br />Ms. Brot wanted to know the background of why University City only scheduled one <br />Regular Council meeting per month. She felt that there was so much material to review <br />at one time when there is only one meeting per month. Plus, there is no set pattern to <br />which Monday Council meetings take place.
