Session 1728, Minutes
July 27, 1998

Mr. Wagner moved approval of the consent calendar. Mr. Sharpe seconded the
motion, which carried unanimously.

AGENDA #2: FIREFIGHTERS' AND FIRE CAPTAINS' AGREEMENTS:

Mr. Ollendorff said that after several meetings with representatives of University City
Firefighters Local 2665 and the City Administration, Memorandums of Agreement with
Firefighters and Fire Captains were endorsed by both parties. Included is a 3% wage
increase, clarification of Union meeting times and increased training time. Mr.
Ollendorff recommends approval.

Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried
unanimously.

AGENDA #3:7012 FORSYTH CONDOMINIUM CONVERSION:

Mr. Ollendorff agrees with the Plan Commission recommendation that converting this
six family dwelling to condominiums be approved since the Planning staff finds that all
necessary ordinance requirements have been met by the applicant.

Mr. Munkel moved approval. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried
unanimously.

AGENDA #4 - SCHNUCKS UNIVERSITY SQUARE SUBDIVISION:

Mr. Ollendorff concurs with the Plan Commission recommendation that the division of
6850-6950 Olive into four lots be approved. The action is necessary since Schnucks is
selling the outlots to other retail developers. Plans have already been approved for
Jack-In-The-Box to build on the front portion of the westernmost outlot. The Planning
department has verified that all ordinance requirements have been met, including
acceptable access easements.

Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion.

Mr. Schoomer stated that he did not remember why this needed to be resubdivided.
Mr. Ollendorff said that the outlots were being sold. The original intent was to subdivide
and the use of the property has already been approved for a permit by Council. Does
not need any further approval by Council.

The motion carried unanimously.
