Session 1728, Minutes 7 July 27, 1998 were called for. Technically, there were plumbing and electric permits taken out, but no building permit and no current electric permit. Mr. Sharpe clarified that Mr. OIlendorff would call off the demolition if the property is miraculously brought up to code prior to demolition. Mr. Ollendorff said that this is correct. PERSONNEL REPORT: Mayor Adams noted receipt of the personnel report for the week ending July 24, 1998. CiTY CLERK'S DOCKET: BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READINGS: BILL NO. 8395- AMENDING CHAPTER 21 O F THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82 THEREOF, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-82. STOP INTERSECTION --VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTION," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO ESTABLISH ASTOP SiGN ON AHERN AVENUE WESTBOUND AT RAISHER DRIVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
