Session 1729 Minutes <br />August 6, 1998 <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS: <br /> <br />The Mayor said that the City of Olivette was moving toward a very large TIF project, <br />which targeted a portion of eastern Olivette, adjacent to University City. He suggested <br />that the Council make a statement against the project. It was the consensus of the <br />Council, that a statement or resolution be prepared, concentrating on pointing out that <br />the Council does not see that portion of Olivette as blighted, therefore it would not meet <br />the state statutes for justifying TIF projects. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 5:20 p.m, <br /> <br /> <br />
