Regular meeting
May 1, 2006

University City’s sign ordinance constitutional. Ms. Brot realized that the property owner
and not the candidate would be the person charged with any violation. Ms. Brot said
that to make this change an amendment would have to be made. Ms. Brot agreed to this wording. Mr. Ollendorff said that it would
be handled with the property owner receiving a citation for any violations.

The amendment would thus read, “In no event shall any University City employee
remove a political sign located on a privately owned property. In no event shall the City
remove any signs from private property.”

Mr. Sharpe Jr. urged postponing this discussion, in order for some to review.

Mr. Glickert moved to second Ms. Brot’s motion to amend.

The amendment was passed by the majority with one Noe vote coming from Mr. Price.

Ms. Brot moved to postpone the second and third reading on Bill 8835 until May 22,
2006, and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr. The postponement of Bill 8835 till May 22,
2006, was unanimously approved.

BILL NO. 8865
— AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A ROAD
2.
DEDICATION PLAT FROM UNIVERSITY PARK NO. 2 SUBDIVISION.

Mr. Price moved for adoption and was seconded by Mr. Glickert.
The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Price, Ms Brungardt, Ms. Brot, Mr.
Glickert, Mr. Sharpe, Jr. and Mayor Adams.
