There will be commentary <br />by Former First Lady Betty Hearnes, Webster University Professors, local media <br />consultants and Governor Holden before and after the speech. <br />The Municipal Commission on Arts & Letters for University City is pleased to welcome <br />Traci Moore-Clay as this school year’s Returning Artist <br />. An alumna of University <br />City Public Schools, graduating from University City High School in 1988, and <br />graduating from the University of Kansas in 1993 is currently the founding owner of the <br />local design firm, Traci Moore Graphics (TMG), created in 1997. In addition to the <br />demands of managing her firm, in 2002, Traci began lecturing in Communication and <br />Design at Washington University in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. She is <br />also responsible for the creation and ongoing collaborative at University City High <br />From February 1 thru 5, 2010 <br />School, WashUCity Design Partnership., Traci Moore- <br />Clay, former president of the University City Education Foundation and former president <br />of the Municipal Commission on Arts & Letters will be visiting several University City <br />school classrooms to share her graphic design, communication, and leadership <br />expertise. The Returning Artist Series is the Arts and Letters Commission’s principal <br />educational component designed specifically for schoolchildren. The <br />conference will focus on issues facing suburbs, with take-home lessons applicable to all <br />types of communities.
