Session 173 I, Minutes ] 0
August 3 I, 1998

Mr. Munkel moved adoption. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion.

Mr. Lieberman could not believe that this $10 fee had been effect for forty-two years.
Mr. Ollendorff said that it was true. Definitely, well past the time for an update.

The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr.
Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mayor Adams. Bill 8401 became Ordinance 6183.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Mayor Adams announced that this was the last meeting for Council casual summer
attire. The next meeting in September is the start of business attire.

ADDITIONAL CITIZEN COMMENTS:

Ms. Joan Botwinick, 511 Westview, wished to suggest that Mr. Ollendorff report back to
Mr. Munkel his findings, so she and Ms. Sachar can follow up with what is happening
with Mr. Goffstein. She agrees with Mr. Lieberman's earlier comments that the
homeowner has responsibility, but the City has responsibility, as well, in making sure
that what a permit is given for is done correctly.

ADJOURNMENT:

Mayor Adams announced that the City Council is having a study session on September
19th at 8:30 a.m.

Mayor Adams announced the next regular meeting for the City Council would be on
September 28th, same time and place. Mayc~dams adjourned the meeting at 8:05
p.m. ~~.j~, ~
Leisha K. Meine, City Clerk
