A Conditional Use Permit is <br />required because the applicant is proposing a restaurant on the ground floor in the CC <br />Core Commercial District. Section 34-37.6 of the Zoning Code states that all proposed <br />uses on the ground floor in the CC – Core Commercial District that are not retail are <br />required to obtain a Conditional Use Permit. Staff and Plan Commission recommend <br />approval with conditions. This application does not require a public hearing at the City <br />Council level.
