Ms. Ricci said <br />Happy Birthday to Ms. Elsie Glickert who just turned 85. Ms. Ricci asked about Council <br />meeting on the budget transfer process and how finance is conducted. February 22 study <br />session at 5:30 p.m. was agreed to. <br />Mr. Crow thanked the citizens who came to the budget presentation and the fleet study <br />presentation. He thanked Ms. Watson for her presentation and hoped that presentations were <br />made to citizens in as broad of a range as possible. The fleet presentation showed the <br />progress made since the last fleet study and Ms. Watson’s presentation that highlighted a <br />number of concerns that faces the Council next year. Mr. Crow noted that in Ames Place, <br />particularly on Kingsbury and Washington near Kingsland, continue to have noise problem with <br />the Washington University students and ask the City Manager to continue to work with the <br />Police Department in trying to bring a level of calm to that neighborhood. Mr. Crow said he <br />wanted Council to know that he continues his progress in creating a 401K for the employees. <br />He thinks the discussion of the pension plan and its liability continues to heighten the need for <br />Council to create a defined contribution plan. Mr. Crow said they had a record crowd that came <br />out for the Arts and Letters celebration of the Returning Artist Traci Moore-Clay and thanked all <br />for coming and making it a success. <br />Mr. Sharpe congratulated the fire department for the marvelous job of taking care of the fire in <br />his neighborhood and the collaborative effort given in putting out this fire. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m. Mr. Glickert moved to go into Executive Session for <br />RSMO 610.021 (1) Legal and (2) Real Estate and was seconded by Mr. Wagner. <br />Roll Call Vote was <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharp and Mayor Adams <br />Joyce Pumm <br />City Clerk <br /> 12 <br /> <br />
