K. NEW BUSINESS <br />BILLS <br />1. <br />BILL 9061 - An ordinance authorizing the City of University City to enter into and <br />execute a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, for mosquito control services and <br />authorizing and directing the City Manager of the City of University City to enter into <br />on behalf of said City a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, for mosquito control <br />services. <br />Contract is for St. Louis County Department of Health to provide mosquito control <br />services which will continue to include the treatment of mosquito breeding sites on <br />public land and easements and adult mosquito control. The contract is for one year <br />with four automatically renewable one year periods (maximum of five years) <br />2. <br />BILL 9062 - An ordinance fixing the compensation to be paid to city officials and <br />employees as enumerated herein from and after its passage, and repealing <br />ordinance No. 6791. <br />Addition of Youth Job Corp positions.Staff recommends approval. Civil Service <br />Board has been advised and asked to submit feedback to City Council. <br />RESOLUTIONS <br />3. <br />Resolution 2010 – 3 City Council’s approval of the City Manager’s authority for <br />budget transfers. <br />This resolution was adopted January 15, 2008, as Resolution 2008 - 2, with the <br />agreement that it would be reviewed yearly from date of adoption. <br />4. <br />Resolution 2010 – 4 A resolution adopting the Parkview Gardens Park Plan <br />City Council adopted the Park Master Plan in January, 2009. The plan identified the <br />redevelopment of the parks in the Parkview Gardens neighborhood; Metcalfe, Ackert <br />and Eastgate as a top priority <br />. <br />L. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION <br />M.
