<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />October 12, 2009, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the City Hall, <br />on Monday, October 12, 2009, Mayor Joseph Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In <br />addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were City Manager Julie Feier and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br /> <br />C. PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. September 21, 2009, Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Price, and <br />were approved unanimously. <br />2. September 21, 2009, Regular Session minutes as amended were moved for approval by <br />Mr. Wagner and were approved unanimously. <br />3. September 29, 2009 Special Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Price and <br />were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. <br />Lisa Frumhoff was nominated by Mr. Crow to the Historic Preservation Commission, <br />seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. <br />City-wide copier contract <br />Mr. Price moved to approve the consent calendar, and was seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Ms. Ricci asked about the difference between this copier contract and the expiring three <br />year contract that listed copiers and printers. The 2006 contract was for $40,689 with <br />$28,292 for copiers and $12,397 for printers. In August 2008 the Council approved $40,689 <br />for the last three year contract. Ms. Watson stated that the City does not have a printer <br />contract as they are not leased. Ms. Ricci asked for an explanation of the $12,397 per year <br />we had been spending on printers if we have no printers. <br /> <br />Voice vote for approval of the consent calendar was unanimous. <br /> <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />Ms. Feier stated she has received a number of questions in lieu of the rainy weather, about the <br />status of the flood buy-out along Wilson. She supplied a handout of the past time lines from <br /> <br /> <br />
