The discussion that followed their <br />last meeting was if the Board had the $100,000 what would it be used for. <br />Mayor Adams charged every citizen in University City to tell all their friends and neighbors that <br />around mid-March everyone should be getting a document from the Federal government a <br />questionnaire to be filled out for the Census Bureau. He noted the importance of everyone <br />sending it in as it is very important for the financial help it gives their City. Mayor Adams said a <br />piece of legislation in the Senate, titled the Fair Tax, noting to beware of the title. He said it <br />proposed to eliminate the State Income Tax but revenue lost would be made up from a larger <br />State Sales Tax. They are also proposing to tax service as doctor’s visits, hair cuts, buying and <br />selling of houses, etc. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m. Mr. Glickert moved to go into Executive Session for <br />RSMO 610.021 (1) Legal and (2) Real Estate and was seconded by Mr. Wagner. <br />Roll Call Vote was <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharp and Mayor Adams <br />NAYS: none <br />Joyce Pumm <br />City Clerk <br /> 8 <br /> <br />
