Department of Community Development <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri 63130, Phone: (314) 505-8500, Fax: (314) 862-3168 <br />March 26, 2010 <br />Ms. Joyce Pumm, City Clerk RE: Application for Conditional <br />City of University City Use Permit P100026 <br />6801 Delmar Boulevard 6301 Delmar Boulevard <br />University City, MO 63130 <br />Dear Ms. Pumm, <br />At its regular meeting on March 24, 2010 at 6:30 pm in the Emergency <br />Operations Center of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Boulevard, the City Plan <br />Commission conducted a public hearing on and application by Maty Aronson <br />representing Snarf’s for a conditional use permit to allow a ground floor <br />restaurant at 6301 Delmar Boulevard in the CC – Core Commercial District. <br />The Plan Commission recommends approval of the application subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Outdoor dining areas and displays of merchandise shall be prohibited <br />between November 15 and March 15. During this period, all portable <br />furniture and fixtures associated with outdoor dining (on-premises or on <br />public sidewalks) shall be stored within completely enclosed buildings. <br />Outdoor dining shall be arranged in such a way so as not to inhibit the <br />safe movement of pedestrian traffic along public sidewalks. All furniture <br />and fixtures, located on public sidewalks shall be entirely portable. <br />2. Outdoor displays of merchandise shall be permitted only on private <br />property located between the frontage of a ground floor premise and the <br />nearest public right-of-way. <br />3. A sign permit will be required prior to the installation of any signage by the <br />tenant. <br />4. If alcoholic beverages are to be served, a liquor license shall be obtained <br />in accordance with the University City Municipal Code prior to the sale of <br />any liquor. The hours in which alcoholic beverages may be sold shall <br />conform to the hours set forth in the liquor license. <br /> <br />
