Civil Service Rules and Administrative Regulations binder should be kept current at each <br />Fire Captain Work Station. <br />Article XXVII: OVERTIME <br />Operation Bulletin will spell out emergency and non-emergency call back procedures <br />with input from Captains. <br />Article XXVIII: WEATHER RULES <br />Operation Bulletin S-3 will be followed regarding work activity during severe weather. <br />Article XXIX: UNIFORM POLICY <br />Operation Bulletins U-1, U-2, and U-3 will be followed regarding uniform guidelines. <br />Article XXX: SPECIAL TIME-OFF PROVISION <br />When a Paramedic Firefighter acts as a Paramedic Fire Captain, or if a Paramedic Fire <br />Captain is acting as Battalion Chief, for twelve (12) or more hours on a scheduled shift day as <br />listed on the daily roster, that employee will receive four (4) hours of time off to be redeemed at <br />a later date. This time off will be designated separately from compensatory time accumulated in <br />lieu of overtime, and may only be used when staffing is adequate and at the Fire Chief’s <br />discretion. This provision shall take place effective September 2005. <br />Article XXXI: SAVINGS CLAUSE <br />If any provision of this Memorandum or the application of such provision should be <br />rendered or declared invalid by any court action or by reason of any existing or subsequently <br />enacted legislation, or the Charter of the City, the remaining parts or portions of this <br />Memorandum shall remain in full force and effect. <br />In the event that the General Assembly of the State of Missouri adopts and passes any <br />law pertaining to a change in the University City’s Fire Department work week, then the <br />provisions herein pertaining thereto shall be renegotiated by both parties. <br />Article XXXII: DURATION OF MEMORANDUM <br />11 <br /> <br />
