Session 1733, Minutes October 12, 1998 The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mayor Adams. Bill 8405 became Ordinance 6187. BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: 1. A bill was introduced by Mr. Schoomer, entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO GENERAL PROVISIONS, BY REPEALING SECTION 1-8.2, RELATING TO ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL COURT COSTS, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 1-8.2. ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL COURT COSTS, SURCHARGES, AND JUDGMENTS," AMENDING SAID SECTION TO REQUIRE THE ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL COURT COSTS, SIJRCHARGES AND JUDGMENTS FOR ALL ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The bill was given its first reading and assigned ¢¢8406. 2. A bill was introduced by Mr. Munkel, entitled: AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING A PARCEL OF LAND AT 6601 CHAMBERLAIN TO ECUMENICAL HOUSING PRODUCTION CORPORA¥1ON. The bill was given its first reading and assigned #8407. Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff replied that he believed that since it was a platted lot of recor,'l, that it may be buildable. As long as the side yard and setback requirements can be met, it is legal to build on. He will ask this question of the city attorney to make sure and report back to him before the next meeting and the vote. 3. A bill was introduced by Mr. Wagner, entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION, BY REPEALING SECTION 2-7.1 , RELATING TO FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS, "SECTION 2-7.1. FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE," THEREBY AMENDING THE SECTION TO INCREASE THE BASE FEE FROM
