Session 1733, Minutes <br />October 12, 1998 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, <br />Ms. Colquitt, Mr. Munkel, Mr. Wagner, Mayor Adams. Bill 8405 became Ordinance <br />6187. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: <br /> <br />1. A bill was introduced by Mr. Schoomer, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO GENERAL PROVISIONS, BY REPEALING SECTION 1-8.2, <br />RELATING TO ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL COURT COSTS, AND ENACTING <br />A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 1-8.2. ASSESSMENT OF <br />SPECIAL COURT COSTS, SURCHARGES, AND JUDGMENTS," AMENDING <br />SAID SECTION TO REQUIRE THE ASSESSMENT OF SPECIAL COURT <br />COSTS, SIJRCHARGES AND JUDGMENTS FOR ALL ORDINANCE <br />VIOLATIONS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned ¢¢8406. <br /> <br />2. A bill was introduced by Mr. Munkel, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING A PARCEL OF <br />LAND AT 6601 CHAMBERLAIN TO ECUMENICAL HOUSING PRODUCTION <br />CORPORA¥1ON. <br /> <br />The bill was given its first reading and assigned #8407. <br /> <br />Responding to Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Ollendorff replied that he believed that since it was a <br />platted lot of recor,'l, that it may be buildable. As long as the side yard and setback <br />requirements can be met, it is legal to build on. He will ask this question of the city <br />attorney to make sure and report back to him before the next meeting and the vote. <br /> <br />3. A bill was introduced by Mr. Wagner, entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, <br />RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION, BY REPEALING SECTION 2-7.1 , <br />RELATING TO FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS, <br />"SECTION 2-7.1. FEES FOR USE OF CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE," <br />THEREBY AMENDING THE SECTION TO INCREASE THE BASE FEE FROM <br /> <br /> <br />
