She talked of
the Mayoral debate that was well attended and allowed residents to familiarize themselves with
the candidates. Ms. Ricci was dismayed that one debate had to pay for the facility and the
other debate the host did not have to pay. She felt this was such a service to the community
and did not feel the City should be charging for it. Ms. Ricci asked Ms. Feier to email her an
electronic copy of the employee listing hard copy she received this week. She said that the
City’s website is in transition but it is very slow and a bit disjointed. Ms. Ricci said that pulling
the financials up on it is a challenge and asked Ms. Watson to email an electronic version to
her.

Mr. Sharpe offered a strategy to Council to have churches, synagogues within their district to
encourage their congregation to fill the Census form out and mail it. He also asked the City
Manager if there was any vacant land available for use of starting neighborhood gardens.

Mr. Wagner urged everyone to turn out and let their voice be heard at the Municipal Election on
April 6.

Mr. Glickert asked the City Manager to use the City’s marquees to promote the Census report.
Mr. Glickert mentioned that one of the best gardens in the City area is on Clemens Avenue.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m. Mr. Price moved to go into Executive Session for RSMO
610.021 (1) Legal and (2) Real Estate and was seconded by Mr. Wagner.

Roll Call Vote was
AYES: Mr. Price, Ms. Ricci, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Glickert, Mr. Sharp and Mayor Adams
NAYS: none

Joyce Pumm
City Clerk

7
