For a list of the 2010 entertainers: http://bit.ly/btw6n7. <br />Celebration in Honor of Joseph Adams <br />Reminder - this Saturday is the on his <br />retirement as being Mayor of University City. The reception will be held from 6 to 8 pm <br />in the rotunda of City Hall. Colleagues, City employees, citizens and friends are invited <br />to attend. Refreshments and memories will be served. <br />Mayor Joseph Adams <br />Pastis being honored on Sunday, May 30 at Adams Park, <br />formally known as Northmoor Park, at a 12:30 p.m. reception at the park. All past <br />Mayors of University City have a park named in their honor. Joe Adams had served on <br />City Council since 1975 and as Mayor since April of 1996. The Pastor from Joe's church <br />will preside over the ceremony renaming the park. <br />The Festival U-City <br /> is a celebration of University City and will be held on Saturday, <br />June 19. The festival will start with a 5 k splash & dash run at 8 am and all other <br />activities beginning at 11 am. There will be music, dance, and other entertainment at <br />the Heman Park stage, (at Midland and Shaftesbury). Entertainment includes local and <br />regional bands, story time for kids of all ages, youth Stomp group, and more. Are you <br /> <br />
