Whatever youenjoy, come out and support the many U-City organizations. Barbecue will be available by the University City High School Alumni Association. The festival will close with a musical performance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Festival U-City is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation department, the University City Parks Foundation, U-City in Bloom, the University City Public Library, The Green Center, and the Arts and Letters Commission. redistricting The School District of University City will have a public forum about elementary attendance areas on Monday, May 24 at 6 p.m. in the McNair Board Room at 8136 Groby Road. Parents and community members are invited to attend to review draft scenarios of new attendance areas, learn more about the committee process and timeline for redistricting and make comments or ask questions about the current draft scenario maps or committee process. Childcare will be provided, but reservations for childcare are required and can be made by calling 314-290-4019. For graduations or any other summer celebrations, please consider this new UCHS PTO fundraiser with the help of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream in the Loop! With the Ben & Jerry's cake program, the UCHS PTO earns $3 for every ice cream cake purchased between now and August 31, 2010.Cakes range in price from $21 to $38 and they need to be ordered at least 2 days in advance.
