Session 1709, Minutes <br />October 2S, 1997 <br /> <br />AGENDA NO. 16 - DEMOLITION BIDS: <br /> <br />Bids for demolition of 1332 Eastover & 1169 Sutter were received October <br />1997 and tabulated as follows: <br /> <br />Aalco Wrecking Co., Inc. <br />Covera Abatement, Inc. <br /> <br />1332 Eastover 1169 Sutter <br />94,370 96,740 <br />97,000 98,125 <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff recommended awarding the contracts to Aalco Wrecking the low <br />bidder for a total of 9911,110. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA NO. 17 - ASPHALT PATH PAVING - RUTH PARK GOLF COURSE AND <br />LEWIS PARK: <br /> <br />Invitations to Bid were sent to eight construction companies to resurface and add <br />paths as detailed above. 917,500 was set aside in the budget for this project. The <br />bids were tabulated as follows: <br /> <br />St. Louis Paving <br /> <br />#Frazier-Davis Construction <br /> <br />Southford Construction <br /> <br />Busy Bee Paving <br /> <br />926,920.00 <br />917,267.00 <br />919,997.00 <br />937,500.00 <br /> <br /># Female owned business <br /> <br />Mr. OIlendorff recommends awarding the contract to Frazier-Davis Construction for <br />their low bid of 917,267.00. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval.
