Session 1709, Minutes <br />October 25, 1997 <br /> <br />AGENDA NO. 18 - REFUSE TRANSFER STATION PROJECT: <br /> <br />Original contract that Council approved for $80,000 has to be increased to <br />$170,000, because contractor discovered that concrete was bad all the way <br />through. Nothing to salvage in many areas. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved approval of the additional funds. Mr. Sharpe seconded the <br />motion, which carried unanimously· <br /> <br />AGENDA NO. 19 - DELMAR HARVARD PLAYGROUND' <br /> <br />PTO attempting to rebuild playground. They wish to know what the City can do to <br />help. Mr. Schoomer met with the Parkview Gardens rehabber and he said that he <br />would remove the demolition substance from the area free of charge. The sense of <br />the Council is that there will not be City funds allocated for this project. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br /> <br />Mayor Adams adjourned the meeting at 10:50 a.m. <br /> <br /> · Meine, Cily Clerk '" <br /> <br /> <br />
