The City ordinances require an organization that solicits door-to-door requires a permit from <br />the City Council. <br />Mr. Price moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Crow and carried unanimously and carried <br />unanimously. <br />1. Authorization for the City Manager to sign an Agreement to participate with Missouri EMS <br />Agent Corporation to increase Ambulance Reimbursement Allowance. <br />Ms. Watson stated that in 2009 the state passed a new law requiring a provider tax. These <br />funds will be paid to the Missouri EMS Agent Corporation and together with State funds this <br />amount of money will be used to create a higher amount of matching funds for Medicare <br />reimbursement. With this additional tax on the city as a provider paid into this fund, the City <br />will be able to experience higher Medicare reimbursement funds. Ms. Watson stated that <br />we are required to pay this tax, the question was does the City want to participate in the <br />increase Medicare reimbursements. <br />Mr. Price moved to approve, seconded by Mr. Crow and carried unanimously. <br />K.
