with Mr. Gideon, he was told that they feed 250 to 300 people a week and 85% of them <br />are U City residents. <br />Ms. Ricci stated that she has a fundamental challenge with identifying one very worthy not- <br />for-profit and giving that not-for-profit money when there are many many not-for-profits. <br />On one hand what kind of precedence does this set and why is the City being overly <br />generous to one and not to any of the others who serve our community. Ms. Ricci stated <br />that if Council wants to do this, she would think it good to set up a grant where the not-for- <br />profits could apply for. She could not support just giving it to one and not any of the others <br />to be considered. <br />Mr. Glickert thought it was a good idea to go up there to visit them. He would like to know <br />when their hours are and when can they come before Council with some information. He <br />said $5,000 is a lot of money and so is $3,000. Mr. Glickert asked about the not-for-profit <br />organization Women In Charge as He was sure they could use some money too. <br /> <br />
