Session 1320, Minutes Page 6
December 6, 1982

Mr. Levy brought up the matter of the procedures taken by the City when there was a
severe snowstorm. He said he hoped there were plans to clearly and concisely inform
the public, prior to the first snowstorm, of the City's plowing procedures. The
public should be aware of what can and cannot be expected, which are priority streets
and which are secondary, and any other necessary information. He said the more ef-
fectively that information can be communicated, prior to its being needed, the less
traumatic the situation will be for everyone concerned. Mr. Ollendorff said all of
that information will be printed in the midwinter Community News issue, which will be
sent out in January.
Mr. Schoomer said the Council might recall a site plan it recently approved for Sa-
leem's Restaurant at Delmar and Westgate. He stated that the restaurant was now open
and serving excellent meals.
ADJOURNMENT

Mayor Mooney declared the meeting adjourned at 8:07 p.m.

Dolores A. Miller
City Clerk
