They learned that East West Gateway is starting, that night, a six week evaluation,
when the alternate route plans were to be all designed and laid out on paper. The idea is
running. Clayton is going to use that six weeks to look at the plans and they are going to
put in a comment of their own to East West Gateway, who in late April, will make a
recommendation based on these six weeks. In June, the decision will be made. Mr.
Wagner would like to see University City put in formal response to East West Gateway from
both the staff and the City Council. He would also like to suggest a special council
meeting, perhaps before the next regular meeting, to discuss what we are seeing. Mayor
Adams said we do not have our copy yet. We should have it any day.

ADJOURNMENT:

Mayor Adams announced that the next regular Council meeting was scheduled for February
22, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Adams adjourned the me~eting at 7:45 p.m.
~is~' ~'~~ ~e, Ci~,e
