<br />Mr. Price moved for approval and was seconded by Ms. Ricci. <br /> <br />Mr. Price asked if there was anything in this resolution that we need to know that we have <br />not been told. He said that will be his question moving forward from here on out because <br />he can’t trust what he is getting, whether it is fact or fiction. Mr. Price asked if it is exactly <br />what it is suppose to be, Yes or No. Mr. Price asked Madam Mayor to tell Mr. Steve Kraft to <br />quit telling Mr. Walker what to say. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft called for Point of Order <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch asked Mr. Price if he had a question for Mr. Walker and then allow him to <br />answer the question. <br /> <br />Mr. Price asked Mr. Walker if this Resolution is exactly what is on paper. <br /> <br />Mr. Walker said yes it was. <br /> <br />Mr. Price asked that Ms. Pumm put that in the record. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow asked Mr. Giger, who was in the audience, if he was in support of this resolution <br />as well. Mr. Giger agreed. <br /> <br />The voice vote for Resolution 2011 – 3 carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. <br />Resolution 2011 – 4 A resolution directing the City Manager on the Fiscal Year 2011-2012 <br />budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft introduced Resolution 2011 – 4 and was seconded by Mr. Glickert. <br /> <br />Mr. Kraft asked to have Ms. Pumm to read the resolution, which she did and it is attached at <br />the end of the minutes. <br /> <br />Mr. Price stated that “This destruction of the City Charter is amazing to me and I warned all <br />of you all, you would not recognize University City when some folks get through.” He said <br />he used the term earlier, right-size. Mr. Price said that means going from 600 to 200 and he <br />doesn’t know what the City Manager is going to manage and why would we be paying top <br />dollar to a City Manager who is managing half the organization. He said he did not know <br />who the City Manager is as it is probably one of the Council people <br /> <br />Mayor Welsch called for a Point of Order on Mr. Price noting that those types of comments <br />are not acceptable. She said Lehman Walker is the City Manager with Mr. Price stating that <br />how come one of the Council guys language is in all of the paperwork. <br /> <br />Mr. Price said that all this is doing is restricting the Wilson Ave. money that was to come <br />from the reserves. He said that all he wants to say is the money that was already allocated <br />for the Wilson people will be restricted. Mr. Price stated that this is what it is about. <br /> <br />Mr. Crow stated that at the last Council meeting he had asked the Finance Director about <br />which cities had a 50 percent reserve, which he has not received yet.
