Ms. Watson was a combination of Loop work over the summer and then
also, there were we had some vacancies early in the year. Last year we
had a vacancy at the end of the fiscal year.
Mr. Crow Page 13 Staff Training in the Fire Department – Last year we were at
$12,000 this year we are at $25,616, it has doubled.

Ms. Watson would have to find out.
Mr. Crow – I will expect an answer on this. Public Works which is page 15 – line
5340 – last year we were at $4,800 in salary for part – time temporary this year
we are at $12,200.

Ms. Watson said a 3/4 position which was not filled all of the prior fiscal
year and was filled early in this fiscal year. There was a vacancy which
was one of our reductions so we no longer have that position. It was part
of the year of a part time person.
Mr. Crow - 6560 Technology Services – Replacement last year we had $600, this
year we are at $6,000.

Ms. Watson said she would have to find that out.
Mr. Crow – Next page 16 line item 5340 under Public Works we had $11,000 in
salaries for part time and this year we are at $21,000.

Ms. Watson said she would look into that
Mr. Crow – I will only hit the bigger ones. Page 17 - Line #6050 Maintenance
Contracts last year we had $555 and this year we have $13,555.

Ms. Watson said she would look into that
Mr. Crow – We had fleet replacement last year which was line 6530 $328,000
and this year we are at $160We ,000, so is that part of the consulting fee?

Ms. Watson said no, we had disposal of some items so it should be less.
She had mentioned to Mr. Walker that she would like to check in further
on those dollars because she wanted to assure that those are correct. We
said there was new staff that are doing that allocation.
Mr. Crow – If I could go to Community Development which is on page 21 – Line
6050 maintenance contracts we had zero last year and this year we are at
$14,000.

Ms. Watson said that was facilities maintenance & have been moved from
Public Works to Community Development and we have no history on that
in community development.
Mr. Crow – The Parks which is on page 24 Line # 6280 which is water last year
we did $9,282 and this year we have done $16.765.

Ms. Watson said she would have to check into that
Mr. Crow – On page 25 line item #6770 Bank & Credit card fees last year we
budgeted $15,000 and this year it’s zero.

Ms. Watson said she believed that was an error or we haven’t allocated
those fees. A couple of years ago we moved all of the bank and credit
card fees for all of Parks and Recreation into this account and it seems
like we have had to manually do that each year so maybe we just haven’t
done it yet.
Mr. Crow – Community Center Aquatics which is page 29, line item 5340 we
were at $74,445 last year and we are at $86,541 this year. I know the aquatics
revenue is up so maybe it is parallel.

Ms. Watson said It is because the pool stayed open later last year
Mr. Crow – The fees for water, electric and sewer have doubled.
14
