Session 1736, Minutes <br />December 7, 1998 <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the reappointments of Mr. Byron Price and Ms. Susan Glassman to <br />the Plan Commission for three year terms ending January 1, 2002. Mr. Schoomer <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved the reappointments of Mr. Jeff Suess, Ms. Mary Dee Schmidt, <br />Ms. Harriet Lander and Ms. Pam Burton to the Municipal Commission on Arts and <br />Letters for four year terms ending January 2, 2003. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, <br />which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe moved the reappointment of Ms. Jane Miller to the Traffic Commission for a <br />three year term ending January 21,2002. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> <br />The City Clerk administered the oath of office to Ms. Melcine Henderson as a new <br />member of the Traffic Commission. <br /> <br />The Mayor thanked Ms. Henderson for her willingness to serve on the Traffic <br />Commission and added that it was a great help to the City for citizens to serve on the <br />boards and commissions. Without the citizens the work could not get done. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS: <br /> <br />AGENDA #1 - CONSENT CALENDAR (1Item): <br /> <br />#1 - Rear Loader Refuse Vehicle: Bids were received for the purchase of a recycling <br />vehicle for the Sanitation Division. A trade-in allowance was requested.
