Mr. Nickels
explained that 15 Princeton is a historical home in University City that was damaged by fire. A
couple bought the home from the previous owner and submitted plans for renovation to the
Historical Society, which have been approved. The couple has agreed to allow CALOP to film
the renovation. CALOP set aside $15,000 for the project. The commission would have to get a
producer to work with the Historic Preservation Commission and the renovation would take
about a year and a half.

Mr. Kirchherr said this may be something Channel 9 would produce and donate to the city. Mr.
Kirchherr also had concerns about how soon the renovation would start. Mr. Wilcox suggested
that CALOP keep the project on the agenda and find out if Channel 9 wants to do the project.
Mr. Nickels will find out when the renovations will begin and come back with a recommendation
to the commission. The matter was tabled.

Treasurer’s Report

Mr. Friedman distributed the April 30, 2007 financial statement to the commission. Mr. Friedman
reported that the financial statement will be provided every month. The report does not include
the Oral History project and the 15 Princeton project; but Mr. Friedman would like both projects
accounted for on the statement. Mr. Friedman asked the commission to review the statement for
open discussion at the next meeting. The commission will also review the budget at the next
meeting.

3
