Discussion was held on funding offered to Anne Davis to produce The Notebook. A motion to <br />consider the offer withdrawn because the contract has not been signed was made by Mr. <br />Kirchherr, seconded by Ms. Mullin, and approved. Mr. Nickels will talk to Petree Eastman, <br />Assistant to the City Manager, about the timeframe for signing contracts. <br /> <br />Education Committee <br />University City School District plans to work with CALOP to produce a student directed film <br />project. Mr. Nickels noted that CALOP will determine its role in the partnership and how funds <br />will be used. Mr. Nickels suggested that CALOP develop a written proposal outlining the roles of <br />CALOP and the school for current and future years. <br /> <br />CALOP Five-Year Plan <br />The commission discussed establishing a committee to update the five-year plan. It was <br />decided that Mr. Nickels and Ms. Mullin would review the five year plan, make <br />recommendations for changes, and submit the recommendations to the commission. <br /> <br />Old Business <br />Discussion was held on whether CALOP’s film inventory maintained at the University City <br />Library was up-to-date.
