The commission discussed the proposal for A City Challenged. A motion to table this project <br />and have further discussion about how to use this material was made by Mr. Friedman. <br />Discussion was held on whether the project should be handled in a different manner. After the <br />discussion, Mr. Friedman withdrew his motion. A motion was then made by Mr. Kirchherr not to <br />fund the project as a part of a grant round and to consider the project in a separate process; the <br />motion was seconded by Mr. Friedman and approved. <br /> <br />The commission scheduled a meeting to discuss development of the University City School <br />District project. Commissioners Nickels, Weston, Creer, Friedman and Kirchherr will meet <br />Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the St. Louis Bread <br />Company, 6630 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63130. A meeting notice and agenda will be posted <br />as required. <br /> <br />Commission members were assigned as liaisons to the new grant recipients: <br /> <br />Liaison Grant Recipient/Project <br />Eleanor Mullin Jay Kanzler/St. Benedict’s Rule <br />Gladys Creer Liz Lippa/Hidden Children of the Holocaust <br />Eric Friedman Mike Steinberg & Thomas Crone/A.O.R.
